THE WORLD OF KOMBIS
The Volkswagen Type2 whether called Kombi, Bulli, Combi, Bus or many slang words is one of the worlds most popular vehicles. The Splittie, Bays, and now the Wedge have fans in bus, van, microbus and camper styles.
There is growing appreciation of this classic in Europe, United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand Japan and many other countries.
There is countless websites including business, personal,clubs and a growing number of 'Blogs". We have started another Forum with many links to parts suppliers, repairers, and "how to" sites as well as incorporating information in The Kombi Konnection Forum.
It also included camping sites all over Australia and we hope it will expand to UK, European and other countries.

Update July 2008 :
Forum has grown well and has members from all States of Australia, United Kingdom, United States, New Zealand etc. Regular runs occur including a "Cafe Run" first Wednesday of the month to Alfreds Kitchen.
We have had Coffee Meets and weekend runs with more planned with a big camping weekend and Show in September- see link below to Kombis on Kampus.
Another highlight is the collection of over 100 "splittie" photos from Perth Western Australia. It is now being called Australia's splittie capital.
Continued information of where to go or how to do it yourself and looking after your Kombi has helped many members and their contributions have added greatly to enjoyment of the forum.
As it says above it is easy to join and only takes minutes and wherever you are you will be welcome.
